Banjarbaru, BeritaBanjarbaru.com – Lapas Kelas II B Banjarbaru penen jagung untuk pakan ternak hasil dari perkebunan warga binaan, Sabtu, (27/3/2021) pagi. Kepala Lapas Kelas II B Banjarbaru, Amico Balalembang mengatakan hasil produksi sudah siap dijual ke pembeli.

“Ini salah satu tujuan dari Lapas kami untuk pembinaan warga binaan, selain itu juga untuk pendapatan PNBP,” ujarnya.

Kalapas menjelaskan lahan yang tersedia seluas satu hektar dan ditanam beragam jenis sayuran seperti kacang panjang, tomat, cabai, pisang, sawi, dan juga kolam ikan.

“Sayuran hijau sebagian juga kami gunakan untuk konsumsi warga binaan, dan sisanya kami jual belikan,” ucap Kalapas.
